We are thrilled to reveal our 2nd Annual Limited Edition Harvest Box! The theme of this year’s box is “Feeding Families.” These limited edition collectible boxes are a celebration of the annual Date Harvest and Families, and we are donating a portion of each box sold to Feeding America, the United States based hunger relief organization.
Each beautiful wood box is made with sustainably farmed US timber by a California box company with over 100 years in business. Our limited edition box label features a unique artwork commissioned to express the artist’s vision of our harvest and box theme. This year’s art was created by talented Udi Peled from Oakland, California. Udi was born in Israel in 1956, and began painting at an early age, at kibbutz BE’ERI where he was raised. An expressionist by nature, who paints mainly oil on canvas, he blends expressionism with a style based on raw talent. Udi’s versatile works are a favorite amongst local art collectors. We’ve been a fan of his work, particularly his endearing donkey portraits, so we asked him to create our 2021 Harvest artwork featuring a mother donkey and foal among the shade of a date orchard.
Each box contains a hefty two (2) pounds or more of our extra large, sweet & delicious hand-picked and hand-packed dates. $5 from each box sold will be donated to Feeding America. 38 million people face hunger in the U.S. — including more than 12 million children. Hunger knows no boundaries — it touches every community in the U.S. Feeding America has been a leader in organizing meals and programs to address hunger and food insecurity and we are proud to support their efforts.
This very special Harvest Box is being produced in limited quantities and makes a great keepsake or extra special gift! Get yours before they are gone!
