Espresso Date Martini

Dates and coffee are a delicious matchup. Combining the best of both, Chef Caine Littrell created our dirty date martini with espresso foam and it is a crowd pleaser.

Make the Espresso foam:

1 oz chilled espresso

4 oz whipping cream

2 T powdered sugar

Place ingredients in a mixer and whip on high until medium to stiff peaks form. Reserve covered in the fridge for use.

Make the Muscovado date syrup:

½ cup Muscavado sugar

½ cup Chopped dates

½ cup Water

Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduced to simmer. Cook for 5 minutes. Reserve for use.

Assemble the Date Martini:

½ oz chilled espresso

1 ½ oz Date infused vodka

½ oz coffee liqueur 

4 oz ice

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake until chilled. Strain into syrup rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a dollop of espresso foam and half date.
