Several medical studies as well as good old-fashioned anecdotal wisdom (we’ve referenced a few of the studies below) suggest that daily consumption of dates in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy may have a significant positive effect on labor. The magic number seems to be 4-6 dates per day for the last month of pregnancy.
