When I became a mom, the thought of children going without food hit my heart deeply. One of my founding principles when I started Rancho Meladuco Date Farm was to help combat hunger, especially childhood hunger, through donations of food and funds.
August is back-to-school month for many US children, but many children in our country still lack sufficient food to thrive and reach their potential.
