Our California box is a loose pack of our delicious, caramely medium to large sized dates! These are the same great tasting dates, but smaller in size than the dates we include in our signature hand-packed boxes. They are too nice to lump with our Grinders (which are typically the dry, small, or imperfect looking dates), so we’ve given them their own box and are now making these available separately!

These are the most delicious, chewy, gooey dates around! They are my main source of energy (carbs) on an animal based diet. I’ve introduced all my family and friends to Rancho Meladuco dates. I make “animal based pancakes” with them by stuffing a date with raw butter and top with sea salt–it’s the treat that everyone loves and devours. I buy the 15lb bulk mixed box about every two months. Thanks for all the hard work you do to produce such a delectable fruit!

They are very sweet as I always expect them to be whenever I have dates from here! I usually prefer to get my dates from this site (and happier to see them in the mail as gifts from friends!) but I will say, the dates I received recently were just too soft for me. I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this box of mixed size dates but they weren’t as firm as how I normally love and prefer my dates. Nothing wrong with them and I still highly recommend Rancho Meladuco! I will just use these dates for my ginger tea. And order another batch at a later time to snack one. 😊
